Beginner Improv Classes

Adult Improv (6 Weeks)
A 6-week Wednesday night session for players 15+. Suitable for beginners or those looking to re-visit the basics of improvisation.
Using simple exercises, games, and group discussion, we’ll work our way through the fundamental skills of improv: being present, listening, being supportive, giving and taking focus, making clear and strong offers, and embracing your sense of play. These are the building blocks of the best improvised scenes. It will be so much fun.

Kids/Youth Improv (6 Weeks)
A 6-week session on Sunday afternoons for youth aged 8-14. Try improv in a fun and supportive environment!
We will lead the group in a series of fun activities focused on listening, team work, being supportive and being silly! Through exercises, games, mini-performances and group discussion, participants will work on confidence, empathy and being present in a fun and supportive environment.
Fun & Company is:
Your fearless leaders in the pursuit of fun: Julianne, Lenny and Paul have got your back!

Julianne Snepsts
Chief Fun Officer
Julianne has been performing improv for nearly 20 years and has a passion for teaching. She’s a student of Human Resources Management with a desire to make work places more engaging and positive through the power of play!

Lenny Epstein
Fun Evangelist
Lenny was saying “yes and” to opportunities before he even discovered his passion for improv. A graduate of the Stage and Screen Studies program at Queen’s University, his career experience led him from directing and producing films and videos, to teaching in college and university, to sitting as an elected member of municipal council in Picton, Ontario.

Paul Snepsts
Professor of Goofballogy
Paul takes laughter pretty seriously. A Gemini-award winning actor, and a comedy producer, Paul has been goofing around professionally for nearly 20 years. When not living the dream creating the silly, he’s teaching others how.
